The 2018 San Joaquin Delta College Mustangs baseball team finished the season with a 44-9 record and earned the CCCAA Baseball State Championship. The Mustangs finished the season ranked #2 nationally by Perfect Game and also won the Big 8 Conference title. The team had eight Division 1 transfers, one All-American, and Coach Peters earned National Coach of the Year honors. This is Coach Peters’ second State Championship since taking the program over in 2008. The Mustangs have made six Final Fours and eight Elite 8 appearances in his tenure:
